Attendance: Don Boozer, Wendy Ensor, Michelle Makkos, Cheryl Lubow, Katie Blocksidge

1. Booklet Update- Don said that the booklets are done, printed, and a packet has been sent to the State Library.  One booklet will be given to each State Library board member.  The booklets will also be made available to  be distributed at other venues, and to each of the libraries mentioned in the booklet. A PDF of the booklet will also be posted on the KIN24x7 Provider site.

2. Booklet blurb in the State Library’s June newsletter- Cheryl suggested that QuACK submit a little article, and Don agreed to write one up and send it out.

3. “Second Look” Transcripts-Everyone felt these transcripts were a good idea.  We decided on a flexible approach to submitting these.  While we are reviewing transcripts, if we find one that would make a good candidate for “second look” we should email it to the other QuACK members to discuss. 

4. Summer reviewer/compiler schedule-Don did a great job creating a spreadsheet showing who-does-what each month.  Everyone was satisfied with the 2009-10 schedule, which goes thru September 2010.  He also created a template for Oct 2010-Sept 2011.  Each committee member is to email the group their first & second choices for scheduling.  Cheryl & Don will decide assignments.

5. New editor on provider site- Cheryl asked how everyone liked the new editor for the QuACK blog.  Wendy said she had difficulties copy & pasting patron transcripts into it.  She could drop the transcripts in, and they would seem to look right, but when published the table format would not look as it did “pre-published.”  It would put the title of the person speaking & the actual conversation on separate lines.  She ended up bouncing between the old & new editors to remove the table formatting.  Other than that, the editor was easy to use.
