This month's featured transcript comes to us from the fine folks staffing the OhioLINK queue. The librarian, Pete, has done a wonderful job of sussing out, through traditional reference interview techniques, what it is the patron really needs. He explains differences between journal articles and books in terms of depth of information and subject coverage and ultimately gets the patron what they need. Well done, Pete! Our kudos to you.

"I Don't See Resolution Codes, Just a Grey Box!"
This is a reminder that if you do not see any Resolution Codes when ending a KnowItNow24x7 session, the first thing to do is to make sure you are using the new client. You should see "SparkRef" in the upper left corner. If you are using the new client, the next thing to do is to delete your Spark profile on your computer. This is a simple process:
For Windows users:
1. Exit SparkRef (make sure to Exit, not simply minimize)
2. Open "My Computer"
3. Open C: drive
4. Open "Documents and Settings"
Installing and Downloading SparkRef
The new Spark client (now called SparkRef) is now available for download. Please do not install it until after your last shift for this week (November 8 -14). If you are upgrading please follow these instructions (Mac and Linux users please contact support@knowitnow.org for OS specific instructions)
