Justice for all. It's a simple notion. Library customers who need to access our system of laws should be able to. Even if they can't afford a lawyer. Legal aid societies and pro bono lawyers fulfill this societal obligation.
The OLC has partnered with the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation to offer education to library staff so they in turn can help library customers obtain current and accurate legal information.
Cynthia Vaughn, the Statewide Technology Project Manager at OLAF, is presenting this webinar to instruct library reference staff on how to use the OLAF website, assist customers with basic legal reference questions and help staff to not actually practice law during the reference interview.
Learning Objectives:

- Learn how to assist customers find their local court rules and forms.
