The Ohio Web Library provides a wealth of valuable, authoritative resources for both librarians and patrons. KIN24x7 providers also have access to these through kin.oplin.org for ease of sharing with patrons during sessions. When referring patrons to databases they can use from home, librarians should always refer them to http://ohioweblibrary.org/.

The following tutorials are designed to provide both librarians and patrons with information on effectively using selected statewide databases available at the Ohio Web Library. The tutorials are being made available here for easy access in a list format. The tutorials are also available at the Ohio Web Library: Resources page by clicking the beside the database names.

Depending on the age and educational status of patrons, librarians can also refer them to the INFOhio (K-12 students) or OhioLINK (students at OhioLINK colleges and universities) databases. Librarians are encouraged to take advantage of the INFOhio 21st Century Learning Commons to learn more about their online offerings. Training materials for OhioLINK databases are available at their Instruction Clearinghouse. For more information about the Ohio Web Library, check out their About page.
