The following message is from Cynthia L. DuChane, Project Coordinator, INFOhio. Thanks, Cynthia, for the tip!...

"I recently read the November 2008 KIN 24x7 newsletter and would like to suggest that KIN providers consider pointing Ohio students and their parents to Science Online (from Facts on File) as a source for science experiments. There is a link to 'experiments' from the Science Online homepage. Search results also include any relevant 'Experiments and Activities'. Each experiment includes time required and suggested grade range.

"Science Online is provided by Libraries Connect Ohio (LCO), a partnership of library organizations including INFOhio, OhioLINK and OPLIN, the academic and public library networks, and the State Library. The LCO purchase (funded in part through an Institute of Museum and Library Services LSTA grant awarded by the State Library of Ohio) provides for the majority of the statewide databases available via the Ohio Web Library."

[To access Science Online directly, go to Ohio Web Library and click on Resources at the top of the page. Science Online is under Science near the bottom of the list ~ KIN24x7 Coordinator]
