On Wednesday January 18, 2012, Wikipedia and several other websites are going dark to protest the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) that is currently being debated in Congress. Because of this KnowItNow24x7 librarians will be unable to use Wikipedia to answer questions. As an alternative we recommend using our statewide databases. Also, the unavailablity of Wikipedia might generate more traffic to us as customers look for ways to answer their questions.
